Craft-Tea Time TODAY! New product ALERT!

You must get into The Pickle today (open 9:30-3).  Craft-Tea Time is happening from 10-2.  We will be showing off our NEW marker spritzing tool and an adorable Penny Black stamp set!

It is 6 days until Valentine's and with another winter storm in the forecast, now is the time to grab some supplies and allow yourself to have a craft day!  I did that last Sunday.  I got all my work done Saturday and since my hubby was all about the Superbowl, and as he has said "I don't know anyone who could care any LESS about football" (oops...is it that obvious?!), I had the perfect excuse to spend the day crafting! "Work" began on my California scrapbook.  I cannot wait to show you once I get a little farther!  I chose to use a Project Life 12x12 album and the amazing Say Cheese line from Simple Stories.  It is coming together quickly thanks to these great products!

Another reason why you must get in, is because I just received a HUGE shipment of new product!  Stamps are beginning to invade the store once more....and I couldn't be any more excited!  We also received the new We R Pillow Box Punch Board, marker spritzing tool, MFT stencils, and more!  Fun times for sure!!

Better get going!  Lots to get ready before we open!  Have an amazing weekend!

Craft-Tea Time

There will be one more Craft-Tea time this year!  Remember it is the SECOND Saturday of each month so that means December's Craft-Tea time will be NEXT Saturday, December 14.  I think something Christmas-y is definitely in order!!

For all those running the race (of life) right at this moment, I hope you're beating YOUR personal best!  Don't worry how the other "runners" are doing....focus on YOUR goal!  You can do it!!  The holidays can be busy but try to slow it down a bit and breath it all in!!  That is MY mantra these days!  Ha.  Inhale......exhale....inhale.....

Craft-Tea patrons thirsty for art | Chatham Daily News

How COOL is this?  The Paper Pickle and Dekoko's make the local newspaper for our Craft-Tea Time idea!  Click the link above to read all the FULL story!  Now doesn't this make you want to join us NEXT month?!?

I absolutely love this photo of little Brianna.  She and her mom and grandmother come every month for our craft!  Three generations.  Coming to my store.  Wow.  I am flattered and honoured.

Where do I find Inspiration?

While on a sentimental roll, I have to tell you that this month's craft was somewhat inspired by a customer's email to me.  Out of the blue, she emailed me a photo of the paper crafts that decorate her home.  Have a look at Teresa's beautiful creations. Didn't she do a nice job?!?  I LOVE the dimensional pumpkins!

She absolutely MADE MY DAY by sharing and by thanking me for "being such an inspiration".  Now isn't one of the main reasons why we craft?  To share our pride for the items we create?  To make others happy with our creations?  To do something useful with our time?  To relax and unwind?  I know I craft for all the reasons above.

Pickle People Projects!
So Teresa's email and photo had me thinking....maybe it would be nice to feature a crafter and their creations right here on the blog once a month.  Please send me your photos and a little description via email and I will feature you here!  I will do my best to get all of you on here!

Other Ideas

So it was really cool on Saturday when we were doing Craft-Tea Time, one woman had a great idea of turning this project into a Christmas themed project.  By changing the papers and topper, these could be Christmas ornaments to decorate your home and tree!  You guys are SO smart!
