| Time to play!! Simple, little projects that make me SO happy! |
Well I can confidently say that after this weekend, I have NEVER felt more comfortable....or more at peace. All because I spent the weekend cleaning and organizing my basement (aka the dumping ground for toys and crafting related products). This was EXTREME organization worthy of a reality television show. Oh my. My husband would say the show already exists called "Hoarders". Ok. Ok. Whatever. I will admit that we may have almost been on the brink winning gold in this event but we did not let that happen!
So now that the craft room is cleaned AND organized, I feel absolutely free of guilt and obligation! It is time to make my way to MY space. It is time to CREATE people!!! The picture above is me fooling around last night with some of the new stencils that we have in the store. We have over a dozen new styles from Memory Box and MFT and they are fabulous! Use ink and a sponge dauber to create beautiful backgrounds. You can also use the new embossing pastes that we have in store to add dimension to your projects. Or use with the new marker spritzing tool or ink sprays. The possibilities are endless. These products have got me playing again....exactly what I have been wanting to do since attending CHA!! Ok. Why does "playing" with paper make me so darn happy??
Demo Days
Get ready for a little show and tell! I will be in the store from 10-5 on Thursday showing you what can be achieved with these stencils. The possibilities are truly endless.
New Product
Embossing paste was all the rage at CHA! White, translucent, gold and silver are now in stock! Add it to a card or layout to achieve 3-D results. This product is SO fun to play with! Just google embossing paste and watch some of the videos out there. Here is Jennifer McGuire's video. It is long but it explores just about every possibility of what can be achieved with this product.

Great selection Kim. I stopped by to pickup my order just as the new stencils were being entered. So hard to decide on just one! Thanks for keeping us inspired with new product.
Hi Jackie! Unfortunately the Tim Holtz crocodile stencil is not being released until the end of April! It appears there is a staggered release for his line. You must check out some of the other company's stencils. I am in love!
Debbie, thank you for taking the time to comment on my post. I think you are going to love playing with the stencils as much as me!! You will have to bring in your creations for a little show and tell!
