NEW Scrapbooking Classes!

The one and only Laura Gilhuly has been busy creating incredible layouts for class.  Did I mention how lucky we are to have such a talented artist designing for our store?  Laura has been featured in Creative Scrapbooker EVERY issue in 2016!  Look out!  This is one hot artist.

Without further ado, here is Laura to describe the classes in her words....

Fall Fun - 12x12 Layout by Laura Gilhuly

Hi everyone and welcome to The Paper Pickle's October Scrapbooking layout class taught by Laura Gilhuly!

Fall is in the air and we are enjoying it with this fall or Thanksgiving themed layout!

In this class you will learn to alter die cuts, distressing techniques and how to alter beautiful resin pieces.  AND you get to work this beautiful line from Authentique!

The dies are from Tim Holtz and that incredible resin piece is from Prima and is so much fun to alter....looks like a great leaf pile to jump in!

Date:  Thursday October 27
Time:  6-8pm
Cost:  $22+HST
Required Supplies:  

• trimmer
• scissor
• tape runner or adhesive of your choice
• 4x6 vertical photo or TWO 4x3 horizontal photos fall or thanksgiving themed

Suggested Supplies (bring only if you have already):

• edge distresser
• stylus for embossing (one with a medium ball is perfect)

Frightful Night - 12x12 Layout by Laura Gilhuly

Hi again!  I've got shivers running up and down my spine because I will be teaching this wicked class. So pull up your casket next to the cauldron and I will pour you a cup of witches brew....

We will fiendishly fussy cut, devilishly ink, make some horrific banners, frightfully emboss and alter some gruesome cheesecloth!  

You will work with some gruesomely eerie products including the spooky Mysterious line from Authentique, dreadfully wonderful Tim Holtz skulls and crossbones and his macabre stickles, shockingly fabulous molding paste and Kaisercrafts evilly bootiful black roses

So if these seems like a hair raising good time and you want to scream with delight, sign up for this spine chilling class!

Make & Take Fun with Julia

I should also mention here that THIS Saturday is the THIRD SATURDAY of the month (yes, already!) and like every third Saturday, Julia will be leading a fun and FREE make and take.  This month she will be featuring a Halloween project.  There is no need to pre-register.  Just drop in during the hours of 10-2 THIS Saturday for a FREE project.  All levels welcome.  We would love to see you!
