It is so hard to believe that just one week ago today I became a mom, yet I cannot image life without Will. I had no idea my heart could feel this way...
I have had a lot of time to think about how thankful I am. Not only for Will, but my amazing husband (who is absolutely adorable with our son), my family, and all of you. I have been overwhelmed with your thoughtfulness. I couldn't believe all of the happy messages that were posted and emailed, and Kim is constantly passing along all of your thoughtful messages. I have received so many beautiful cards and have been shocked by the gifts and goodies... even handmade sweaters and hats (They are absolutely gorgeous Karen and Lin)!
I get tears in my eyes every time I think about how lucky I am.
This morning as I was running out the door, I received a call from Cynthia, letting me know that she emailed me a photo from Will's photo shoot on Tuesday. He was only 5 days old when we took the trip to get his photos done. It was our first time out of the house since getting home on Saturday, and he was a perfect angel! Not a peep the entire way to London, he slept through the entire 3 hour photo shoot (I guess having the room about 90 degrees will make anyone sleepy!), and then he took everything in the whole way home without a sound.
I couldn't wait to share this photo with all of you! My mind is racing thinking of all of the projects I want to make with these pic's... thanks Cynthia, you are amazing!
