Talk about March MADNESS!

What the hay?!?  Has it seriously been ONE month since my last post?!?  What have I been doing you ask?  Well a little of this and a little of that.  I have too many business related items to talk to you about that I can't tell you that we FINALLY finished all our new home renos and moved into our place.  We took possession Nov 30 and JUST moved in two weeks ago.  It has been a long haul, but it was so worth it.  We love the place.  Goodbye 40 year old flocked wallpaper.....hello, kid's artwork!  Well no crayoned walls, just yet, but give it a month or so I am sure!

Also I don't really have time to tell you that we celebrated a couple of BIG birthdays....."baby girl" turned 5!!  We celebrated with a family party and then her very first "friends" party a week later at The Pickle.  She was so proud to show her friends her mama's store including the washrooms (I mean what is it with girls and washrooms....even at 5!).  It is funny because I thought the party would have to be canceled because that same day, Coulter rolled out of his new BIG BOY BED and we spent the day in emerg only to find out he broke his collar bone.  He is doing fine and all we have to do is have him wear a sling and it should heal just fine....wait....a two year old boy and a sling?  How does that work?

I also had a BIG birthday....well, not THE big one but big enough.  The big 3-5.  I am still wondering how THIS has happened.

Zonta Cardmaking Extravaganza
We will be a part of another sure to be amazing Zonta cardmaking event on Saturday April 16th.  The event runs from 10-4 at St. Clair College Thames Campus.  Tickets are on sale NOW at The Pickle for a special rate of $42 (if you register by April 4th) and includes lunch and up to 10 projects!  It is such a great event to pick up tips and techniques from local merchants and demonstrators with proceeds going to a great cause.  More details to follow in a future post or call the store for more info.
